Toshiba Satellite P755 CD/DVD lost after loading Windows 8 (Toshiba Error Code 19)

I have followed the steps from earlier posts to uninstall Toshiba Recovery Media and Disc Creator.  I also Uninstalled the device driver and restarted the computer with no luck.  I tried multiple Windows fix options and that did not help either.  All I know is that it worked just fine until I installed Windows 8.  Does anyone know of anything else I can do or try?

Sorry... somehow I missed the fact that you had already dealt with the Toshiba Programs.

 

I have been using Nero Burning Rom... mostly because I already had it
