OS is Windows 8 64-bit. I use Natural Reader program NR11. When I fire up it says "There is no disk in the Drive. Please insert a disk in Drive E."

OS is Windows 8 64-bit.  I use Natural Reader program NR11.  When I fire up it says "There is no disk in the Drive.  Please insert a disk in Drive E."  The program works fine after 4 attempts to clear the sign.  How do I stop that notice appearing in the first place?

  1. Does the issue occur only with this application "NR11"? Is the application compatible with windows 8?
  2. Do you have to insert the disk before you can launch the application?
  3. Does the computer read other CD/DVDs without any issues?

 

 

It is possible that the DVD is corrupted.

Did you ever resolve this issue...?  I am now having the same problem with Natural Reader Version 14...

Have been unable to reach Naturalsoft Support nor chat online with them...
