Hi Sangeet,

Thank you for posting this question on Microsoft Community Forums.

I see that after upgrading Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop to Windows 8, the audio drivers aren’t supported.

Let us work together to resolve this issue.

However, we need more information on this issue. Please answer these questions.

1.     Do you receive any error messages/code when the issue occurs?

2.     Did you run Windows Upgrade Assistant before upgrading to Windows 8?

3.     Which version of Windows 8 is installed in the computer?

Here’s what you can try:

Update the drivers manually.

Go to the manufacturer’s website and update the drivers for Windows 8.

http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html

Since there aren’t any drivers available for Windows 8, install the drivers in compatibility mode for Windows Vista.

Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows

Please get back to us with the results.

For further support, please contact Lenovo Support.
