ML-1710 printer not working on Windows 8

my ml-1710 PRINTER will not load to my ASUS COMPUTER. WHAT SHALL I DO TO GET CONNECTION?

I HAVE LOCATED SOME FREE DRIVERS BUT STILL NO CONNECTION.

Hi Henry,

 

Let me ask you few questions.

 

1) Do you get any error while installing the drivers?
2) From where did you get the drivers to install?

 

I would suggest you to download the driver form the link given here.

There is no driver for Windows 8, there you have to download Windows 7 driver and install the driver in compatibility mode. You can follow the steps given here.

 

Please refer to the steps given under the section “Apply a compatibility mode”.
