KINGSTON DATATRAVELER 150 USB DRIVE

I tried to use my Kingston DataTraveler 150 in Windows 8,

it can be detected but Windows 8 USB driver can not support this pen drive.

Any method to solve this issue?

4. Which operating system was installed prior to Windows 8?

 

Please follow the below methods and check the issue:

 

Method 1:

 

 

Run the Hardware troubleshooter and check.

 

 

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

 

 

a. Press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the Charms bar.

b. Type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting under Settings.

c. Now type Hardware Troubleshooter in the search option.

d. Click on Hardware troubleshooter to run the troubleshooter.

 

 

Method 2:

 

 

I would suggest you to install the updated drivers for the USB drive from the below link:

Method 3:

 

 

If the issue persists, then install the drivers in compatible mode and check.

Follow these steps:

a)   Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.

b)   Type compatibility in the search box and then press enter.

c)   Click “Run programs made for previous versions of Windows” option from the list appeared in the left side.

d)   Select the drivers and install.
