Issues with Teracom LW272 3G data card on Windows 8

Original Title:    3G datacard not working in window 8

 

sir,

     I hv 3G datacard of Teracom LW272. it is working in Windows 7. bt not in windows 8.

I also check compatibility troubleshooting. bt no result.

kindly help me...

1) What is the exact issue that you are facing with Teracom LW272 data card?
2) Do you receive any error message?
3) Do you receive any notification for the data card device under Device Manager? Is there any exclamation or question mark?
 
I would suggest you to check for the device status of the data card under Device Manager after connecting to the computer.
 
You can follow the steps to check for the status:
a) Press Windows and R key together to open the run box.
b) Type the following command without quotes and press Enter on the keyboard.
devmgmt.msc”.
c) Locate the data card device and expand the driver icon.
d) Right click on the driver icon and click on Properties.
e) Check of the information under device status of the driver.

I would suggest you to run the hardware and device troubleshooter and check if it helps.

a) Press Windows and X key together and select Device Manager.
b) Locate the data card driver and expand it.
c) Right click on the Driver icon and Select Uninstall.
d) Follow the onscreen instructions to uninstall the driver.

Step 2:
Follow the steps to install the driver that you have downloaded in Windows 7 compatibility mode:
Refer to the section “Apply a compatibility mode”.
