I bought Windows 8 Pro for a laptop with Vista. Now my Dell V515W All-in-One Printer does not always work. How can this be fixed?

My laptop had Vista 32 bit originally and it crashed last August. I reinstalled Vista but it messed up the ethernet and  could not get online. I found Windows 8 Pro pretty cheap and bought it. It fixed the ethernet problem but now my printer does not always work. I have a Dell All-In-One V515W printer and have tried downloading the Windows 7 drivers, but I am still having some problems. Can anybody help?
