How to setup gigaware usb controller for gameplay

I have a gigaware usb controller, that i'm trying to use on my laptop which has windows 8. The controller didn't come with any software, so does anyone know how to set it up for gameplay?

1.    Are you getting any error message when you connect the controller ot the computer?

2.    What is the model of the Gigaware USB controller?

3.    Are the other USB devices working in the computer?

 Method 1:


You may try running the Hardware and Device troubleshooter and check if it helps.


a. Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.
b. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.
c. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.
d. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

 

Method 2:

 

You can contact the USB controller manufacturer and then try to download and install the latest driver for the device.

 

You can install the driver in compatibility mode if the drivers for Windows 8 are not available.
