how to do a system restore using windows 8. my mouse will not work but keyboard does work.

I updated some drivers and now my mouse will not work

Press the Windows key and the "R" key. type "appwiz.cpl" without the quotes in the Run box. Use the arrow keys to scroll down to the updated drivers. When the driver is highlighted press "enter". Use the arrow keys to select Yes in the uninstall confirmation dialogue box. Restart the computer.

 

You can run System Restore from a command prompt if you are unable to uninstall the drivers. Press the Windows key and "X", use the arrow keys to select Command Prompt (Admin) type "rstrui.exe" without the quotes. Use the arrow keys to navigate the System Restore windows.
