I have a Dell inspiron 15 with windows 8. I get no error message, nothing when I connect my iPhone to this laptop. I know it is connecting because it begins to charge the phone. I don't even get the iPhone icon on the bottom. I finally figured out how to get my printer to connect by disabling one note.
