I cant install Flight Simulator X on my Windows 8 laptop. Error 1722 and 1603

I am able to install the FSX demo without any issues whatsoever, but everytime I try to install the full game I get the same error just as the installation process is finishing. I have already tried the fix that Microsoft released for the game as an administrator but didn't work. I really want to get this game installed as soon as possible. All comments well appreciated.

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

From your issue description I understand that you are not able to install Flight Simulator X on my Windows 8 laptop.

In order to help you better please provide us the following information:
1) What is the complete error message you get?
2) What was the recent change made to your computer prior to this issue?
3) Which version of Flight Simulator X are you using?

I would request you to refer to this link to check the compatibility of the game:

Flight Simulator X is compatible with windows 8 as per this link.

To fix the issue with installing Flight Simulator X you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Clean Boot.
Perform clean boot to identify if any 3rd party service is causing this issue:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135?wa=wsignin1.0
Note: After performing the troubleshooting steps in clean boot, follow Step 3 from the link to start the computer to Normal start up mode.

Method 2: Disable third party anti-virus.
Most of the times the third party security software causes this problem, I would request you to disable it.
a. Press “Windows key + C”.
b. Choose Search, and type in Control panel.
c. Under System and Security, clicking Review your computer's status.
d. Click the arrow button next to Security to expand the section.
e. If Windows can detect your antivirus software, it's listed under Virus protection.
f. If the software is on, check the Help that came with the software for information on disabling it.

Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
