i am having issues installing GRID 2008 game on my windows 8 laptop.An error is being shown.

On clicking on the setup of the game the following error is shown

setupnew setup.cpp(135) PAPP: PVENDOR: PGUID: $14.0.0.162 @WINDOWS VISTA SERVICE PACK 0(9200) non IE/NETSCAPE 61744.280

Can you please tell me what can I do to resolve this error or why the error is occurring.

I suggest you to place the computer in clean boot and then try to install the game in compatibility mode and check if it helps.
