Q: DirectX End-User Runtime (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) for a game called Cube World. What do I do? This thread is locked from future replies

I tried to install DirectX End-User Runtime (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) for a game called Cube World. When I click the installer, it says that it found the current or better version of itself on the computer. When I clicked on Cube World, though, it said that it couldn't find DirectX. I looked through my programs to find DirectX and it wasn't there. There is no "install anyway" button, so I'm in this weird deadlock situation. What do I do?

Answer

A:

Hi,

The download provides primarily optional DX9 and DX10 files that a lot of games need....

It is a self extracting package. It will extract after double clicking on it so be sure to note the location where you\it extracted.

Then open the folder and double click DXSETUP.

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.
