Sharing File Folders with Homegroup on Windows 8

I set up a folder for sharing in homegroup, and it works fine.  But if I do a shut down and restart, the the folder sharing I set up goes away, and I have to set it up for sharing again?

1.      Do you have any third party anti virus software installed on the computer?

I would suggest you to follow these methods to save the Homegroup settings and check.

Run Home group Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Home group Troubleshooter.

a.      Press windows key + W and type troubleshooting.

b.      Select troubleshooting.

c.       Select View all on the top left corner.

d.      Run Home group troubleshooter.
