US international keyboard in Windows 8

In Windows 7 I configured my keyboard to use the US international keyboard so that I could type accented characters with 2 key presses, e.g. 'e to produce é. I have now upgraded to Windows 8 and cannot find this option. Is it still available?

Answer
Hello,

Go in the Control Panel, under "Clock, Language and Region" and click change "Input methods".

Then on your US line, click on "options" and then download the "English Language pack".

Once download and install you will be able to select "US International" as we know it on Windows.

It'll behave like on Windows 7 (imo not as good and easy as on a Mac) but you'll be able to use your US keyboard to type with accented characters.

You're welcome! ;-)

Nooblade.
