Is there any way to run two or several Desktops under Windows 8?

Hi,

Having several Desktops would allow to see several non-Windows8 applications next to each other. Is this feasible?

Cheers

Hi,

It seems that you would like to run two or several Desktops under Windows 8.

I will certainly help you with this.

1.      Are you referring to running multiple monitors using Windows 8?

2.      Do you want to install Windows 8 on multiple desktops?

I would suggest you to refer the following links and check.

Aero Snap still works on the Windows 8 desktop.  Just drag one application's window all the way to the left of the desktop and it will resize to occupy the left half of the screen.  Drag another application all the way to the right and it will occupy the right half of the screen.

If you're looking for something more in the line of Spaces on OS X or virtual desktops on Linux, have a look at VirtualWin.  I'm pretty sure that still works on Windows 8.
