How do I rotate the screen of a 2nd monitor on Windows 8?

I'm on an HP Envy and have a Samsung monitor attached to it. I've gone into the control panel and the mobility center and see no option for screen rotation. Please help? Thanks.

not seeing an orientation tab.

Another HP user had the same symptom until they updated BIOS, drivers and AMD software (e.g. Catalyst Control Center.)

Hi,

Thanks for posting this question in Microsoft Community.

  1. What is the make and model of the computer?
  2. What is the make and model for display adapter?

Here is an article with some good information on Enhancing Windows 8 for multiple monitors.

You may also go through the article and check if it helps.

Check the display adapter settings.  You have to enable screen rotation depending on graphic settings.

Hope it helps. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to let us know. We will be glad to help you further.
