How can i search for ALL the pictures on my hard drive, window 8 ????

I had windows xp and all I had to do was to go to search and select pictures and ALL the pictures on my computer would come up. How can I do this with windows 8 ??????????????

If you open your hard drive in the file explorer, you can use the wildcard * to search for something like *.jpg to find all JPEG images.  Doing that would look like this with typing that into the search box:

 

    

 

But you might want to find all pictures, even if they are other types (.bmp or .png or .gif).  To do that, use the search toolbar that appears at the top.  Use the Kind menu and tell it you want to search for all Pictures.  It's quite similar to XP, except you get more choices.
