after going through all the troubleshooting steps to try and get windows 7 sp1 to install using windows update i decided to just install it manually. i downloaded the file from the windows site installed it then all my usb ports didnt work. they would light up but then shut back down as soon as windows started. so my mouse and keyboard wont work. i had to turn off the computer then turn it on again hit f8 and click on "disable driver signature enforcement" so i can get my usb ports running again. i uninstalled sp1. but is there a fix to this so i can install sp1 with no problems.
note: i even tried to use both methods on this website but it still didnt work.
