I understand that you get a blue screen on Windows 7.
It would be more helpful, if you answer these questions:
1. Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
2. What is the complete error message you receive?
I would recommend you to refer to the methods provided to resolve the blue screen issue.
Step 1: perform clean boot in Safe Mode.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
Please note: After the troubleshooting, make sure to boot your computer to normal mode by following the steps.
Step 2: Run the Microsoft Safety Scanner in Safe mode With Networking.
Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.
Important: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost
System Restore disclaimer: When you use System Restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you installed are removed.
