.net framework 2.0 is on my computer and i want to remove it and it will not allow me to do that and it is taking to muuch space on my computer and i already have another version of it and dont need the other one

ive tryed to remove the program from my computer and it will not let me. it says can not be removed and it is taking to much space on my computer and i  already have another version of it on my computer

Which .NET framework are you referring to?

No, it is not recommended to uninstall .NET framework from the computer.

The Microsoft .NET Framework is a software framework , it includes a large library of coded solutions to common programming problems and a virtual machine that manages the execution of programs written specifically for the framework. The .NET Framework is a Microsoft offering and is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform.

Some of your applications will no longer work, if you uninstall .NET framework so, I would suggest not to uninstall .NET framework.

You may want to run disk cleanup to free up space on your hard disk. See the link below.
