Why does Paretologic Filecure software run on my computer (which requires a paid subscription to actually resolve the file problems it finds) when I never installed it and why can't I remove it?
I have a Sony VAIO laptop. A file scan program keeps running on my computer that I never installed - and when it finds problems, it asks me to pay for the software to resolve those issues. How do I remove this Paretologic Filecure from my system?

b. Click on the Windows "Start" button, then navigate to the "Accessories" tab followed by the "System Tools" option. Under System Tools, you will find an application named
"Scheduled Tasks." Click on this option to bring up the "Tasks" menu.
c. In the "Scheduled Tasks" windows you'll see the "Paretologic Registration" task. Left-click on the application, and then in the window on the left side click the "Delete" link to remove the scheduled task.
Step 3: If you are unable to find that program in control panel then, try performing clean boot.
Starting your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program. This kind of startup is known as a "Clean boot."
