VB6 IDE in W7, Mouse Wheel dosen't work

Succsufully installed VB6 SP6 in W7. Runs great, but Microsft IntelliMouse 3.0 wheel dosen't work in VB6 IDE.

The help from MS for XP works fine:

  1. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 <path>\VB6IDEMouseWheelAddin.dll, and then click OK.
  2. Start Visual Basic 6.0.
  3. Click Add-Ins, and then click Add-in Manager.
  4. In the Add-in Manager list, click MouseWheel Fix.
  5. Click to select the Loaded/Unloaded check box, and then click to select the Load on Startup check box.
  6. Click OK.

    In Windows 7 regsvr32 yeild 0x80004005 error?

    Help!

a. Does mouse wheel doesn’t work only in visual basic 6?
b. Did you try method 2 provided in the below article?
