Unable to use lotus notes as default e-mail program.

Lotus Notes in Default Program List

My company uses Lotus Notes for our email client.  However, Notes does not show up in the list of Default Programs when I attempt to set it as the default in Windows 7.  How can I get it to show up in that list so I can set it properly?  Note that I have already set it in the program, but I have another application that looks to Windows for my default email, so I need it set in that list.
