I can't seem to get Quicken 2009 account update to work. The program goes through the paces of downloading the transaciton (e.g. see account 123 - 20 transactions downloaded) but they are never displayed in the account details to accept and categorize them.

Hi, b1tsh1ft.
You might want to visit the Usenet newsgroup,
alt.comp.software.financial.quicken. That's where a lot of Quicken users
hang out, for all versions of Quicken and of Windows - and even a few Mac
users.
Quicken 2009 Deluxe works fine in Win7 Ultimate x64 RC, although it required
compatibility mode when I first tried it on the pre-Beta Win7 back in
October.
There have been a few occasions when there was a glitch like you describe:
downloaded transactions shows up in the Online Center but would not allow
Matching. When it happened to me, the only cure I found was to reinstall
Quicken. I think this is a bug in Quicken, not in Win7, because it also
happened to me once in Vista.
