Problem installing software and get 0xc000007b error on Windows FixIt.

What is the program name?
Is it compatible with Windows 7? http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx
What is the error message you get when trying to install the program?

What Microsoft FixIt did you attempt to install?

Tied the steps in the link but no luck.

The software I am trying to install is Samsung Kies V.2 and is compatible with Win 7 64

No error message received from the program. The program begins to unpack showing only the green bar and no text. It then hangs.

Error message comes from Fixit version 3.0.0.35 (The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application).

"I have run reg cleaners" that being the case who knows what other problems you have created.

At this stage the machine is running well apart from the install problem.
