On start-up, Solution Center pops up asking to insert the disk.
We we turn on our Windows 7 computer, Solution Center starts up and asks us to insert a disk. We don't have a disk, so we close it. We get an error when trying to close it, but it still closes. We had this problem with Windows Vista before we upgraded
and it is still continuing. I can't seem to find a solution.

This seems to be a problem with the HP Solution Center trying to locate the Active X file, Flash9b.ocx which is not included in Windows Vista or Windows 7. Prior to Vista, Flash was included as a Windows component.
I searched and found the following on the HP support site. There is a possible solution from Nat Ray you might try. But since this is from a 3rd party website you will need to use at your own risk. I would suggest making a system restore point before attempting the

Unfortunately, the Solution Center programmers hard coded this specific version of Flash into the installation program. Updating, or removing, Adobe Flash Player will trigger the reinstallation of the Solution Center. A clean uninstall and reinstallation of
the HP software will resolve the problem, that is until you update Adobe Flash Player.
Note: A reinstall requires stopping all programs running in the background, this includes Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Firewall, Mail programs, and whatever else you have running at startup.
