How to uninstall the Bing Desktop

I wish to uninstall Bing Desktop. It appears in 'View Update History' but not in 'Installed Updates' or' Programs & Features'. My normal Desktop has been replaced with the Bing page. Don't know how to remove it. Can anyone help? Malcolm

This was off the kb article, How to uninstall Bing Desktop To uninstall Bing Desktop from Windows Vista or from Windows 7, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start
    Collapse this imageExpand this image
, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Programs and Features.
  3. In the Uninstall or change program list, click Bing Desktop, and then click Uninstall.
  4. Follow the instructions.

Personally if it's not listed in uninstall a program or programs and feature,

Look on the top left and click on View installed updates,

Wait a couple of minutes for the list to completely load, bing desktop should be listed and can be uninstalled.
