Q: How to open files with the .eml extension in Windows 7 Professional

How do I open emails that have been saved in an .eml format in Windows 7?  I can save emails on my server which runs XP and when I click to open the saved email it opens the email.  When I try to open them from the workstation that runs windows 7 it does nothing but open my email program not the actual email.  It has worked for a while but now it doesn't.  I have tried to change the "open with" and choose Windows Live Mail (my email program on both compters) but same thing happens just opens the Windows Live Mail not the actual email.  Please help

I found the fix:  Set Window Live Mail (WLM) as default for EML files in Winodws 7:

Control Panal, programs. Set your Default Programs, Windows Live Mail, Choose Defailts for this program.  Make sure EML files is checked.
