I have found that the process Ielowutil.exe hogs up a lot of resources when I sign into Skype or Yahoo messenger. It freezes both programs for about a minute and then they eventually sign in. I have done a little research and I disabled the Internet Low
Mic Utility tool through the Feed Settings underneath Internet Options. When it is disabled both programs work fine and sign in no problem without any freezing. Is there anyway to just get rid of it or at least permanently disable it?

I think I found something, that worked for me. Maybe for you too. Try the following:
How to disable ielowutil.exe:
1. Start Internet Explorer, click on the Gear icon and then select "Internet Options"
2. Click on the Content tab and then
Feed and Web Slices field select Settings.
3. In the Feed and Web Slices window, uncheck ALL the boxes. Click
OK and then
This works for me, even if I restart my computer. Finally Skype starts right away, as it used to.
