Get error: Registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning cds and dvds are missing.

Original title: Registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning cds and dvds are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. reinstall iTunes

I have loaded and unloaded Itunes 5 times and still get the same error message box. This error does exactly what it states, I can not burn anything from my itunes library. Itunes worked great in XP-3 no problems. It will not work in Windows 7-64.  I can download and play songs from any site but cant burn anything.  And I do not have any other CD burning software on my PC

Hi PohlCat,

-      Since when are you facing this issue?

-      Did you make any changes to the computer before this issue started.

-    Do you have any other 3rd party CD / DVD burining software installed on your computer?

You normally receive this error if the registry is modified or corrupt on your computer.

However, you may access the link below and follw the steps in the article and check if it helps you fix the CD burning issue in iTunes.

Hello PohlCat,

Since you have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes without correcting the problem, it may be with a 3rd party product causing a problem.

I would look at the post here to see if this solution might help for you. It is from a 3rd party website, you will need to use at your own risk since it has not been tested but has seemed to help others with the same error that you are experiencing.

Please reply back and let us know if this helps.

Sincerely,
