Thanks for response. but in Symantec forum talking about MSI problem inside the windows.I compared the chksum for the software and it was matched.

I saw many such problem posted in different sites but the solutions mentioned didnt solve the issue

Method 1:
If installing from the CD, then copy the files over to the desktop first and try installing from there.
 
 
Method 2:
Clear the temporary files using disk cleanup and try again.
You may reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space and help your computer run faster, use Disk Cleanup. It removes temporary files, empties the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of system files and other items that you no longer need.
Delete files using Disk Cleanup
