Hi Krolike,

Step 1: Remove all components or products of acrobat and then try installing.
Run windows installer cleanup utility tool to remove existing acrobat contents on the computer.

1. Download windows installer cleanup utility tool and install it.
http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe
2. Launch windows installer cleanup utility tool from the start menu.
3. Select Acrobat products from the list and remove it.
4. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
5. Download latest acrobar reader and install it successfully.

Step 2: If that does not resolve, then manually remove and reinstall .netframework.

Hi,

Step 1: If you are not able to do the step 2(manually remove and reinstall .netframework), then

i. Navigate to C:\windows\winsxs\ x64_microsoft.vc80.atl_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ii. Right click to rename it as x64_microsoft.vc80.atl_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.old
iii. Then follow the step in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100
iv. Once .net framework is re-installed.
v.  Run the fix it for Office 2010 to uninstall any traces of Office 2010 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
vi. Then try installing it.
