How do I change the word selection preferences in the new version of WordPad? Right now, it selects way more than I want and it costs me time trying to figure out how to get it to select just what I want. There used to be a way to turn off auto-word-select.
I don't see those options anywhere.
1. Does this happen only in WordPad where you cannot select the words you want to change?
2. Have you tried changing the sensitivity of the mouse with Control Panel?
3. Have you tried a different mouse?
I would suggest you to use the arrow keys present on the keyboard and check if this helps.
