After normal ending, error message says "Application has stopped working"

I use ACDC 7 for viewing and editing graphic files, here with this Windows 7 (64) system. I usually select files with Windows Explorer, and they open using ACDC. When I close the last file, I get a window with an error message that says "ACDSee 7.0 Application has stopped working" It's the same situation discussed in this video. It doesn't work, and I continue to get the same error message. I removed ACDC and reinstalled it, but the result is again the same.

Another computer with Windows 7 and ACDC 7 works OK where we do not receive

this error message.

Since when are you facing this issue? Did you make any recent software or hardware changes on the computer?

This could be happening if any of the background programs is conflicting with the application. To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
