After this error message the display drivers were updated. The old adobe catalogs were renamed as old. Adobe began running. It appeared to be no more issues. I rebooted my computer. The computer would not reboot.  The error message was missing something like  NR.....   I don't remeber all of what was missing. I removed the portable drives then the computer rebooted. Now the Adobe is crashing again when I run it under my catalog.  It appears the adobe crashes when the catalog contains videos.  I have checked drivers and they appear all updated. Any ideas?  I did note an update in January to the drivers for ntdll.dll by windows when I checked windows updates to search for changes.

Hello LNiehaus,

Have you attempted to re-install all of your Adobe programs as suggested by Rajith R?

I would also look to see what Adobe programs are starting automatically when you start Windows:

Try disabling some of the possibly unnecessary Adobe start-up items and see if the pop-up errors continue.

As you have already tried to uninstalling and reinstalling the program and still facing the same issue, I would suggest you to post the query in the Adobe forum and check.
