Q: Windows Live Mail Problems This thread is locked from future replies

Following my problems with Windows Live Mail I have again used Windows Installer Cleanup (msicuu2) to remove ALL Live References from my PC. After doing so I ran IOLO System Mechanic to cleanup all registry [Restarted].  Following restarting system going to Update and downloading Windows Live Essentials from the offered list I ONLY want Mail which so far has never worked. Do I have to tick any of the other applications from the list below for Mail to run successfully on my system?. My system is currently COMPLETELY Live free using (msicuu2). Before I spend anymore time trying to use Windows Live Mail could anyone please advise. I have 2 other systems running the same operating system with no problem using mail, however this is my main PC which I would like to manage my Mail on.

Mail
Photo Gallery
Movie Maker

Family Safety
Microsoft Office Outlook
Microsoft Office Live Ad..
Silverlight

A point which may or may not be relevant is Up-date (KB953297) will not install plus if I right click "My Computer" and choose 'Manage' nothing will happen

Did this solve your problem?
