Windows 7 is suddenly not genuine?

I have an HP dv4 with windows 7. I reformatted the hard drive about a month ago. Everything was working great until last night when it told me that my windows 7 wasn't genuine. I followed the prompts, and was told my product key was not valid (though I know it is!) and I need to buy a new one. I tried to put in my key a few times, and got this error: Code: 0xC004F063 and it won't take my key.

Now I have a black background with Windows 7 Build 7601 This copy of Windows is not genuine.

I looked online and did this :

Step 1: If you are able to boot normally then, try uninstalling and reinstalling the product key and check if it helps.

a.       Click Start and type “cmd” (without quotes) in the start search box.

b.      From the programs list right click on cmd and select “Run as Administrator.”

c.       In the command shell type the following command and press Enter after each command.

slmgr –upk

slmgr –ipk (your product key)

d.      Activate the copy again and check if it works.

It didn't work. What should I do?

Here is my MGADiag report:

Licensing Data-->
Software licensing service version: 6.1.7601.17514
Error: product key not found.

looks to be a problem in the licensing store:

Recreate the Licensing Store

    1) Click Start button.

    2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field

    3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator

    4) Type: net stop sppsvc   (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)

Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.

    5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

    6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar

    7) Type: cd %windir%\system32

    8) Type: net start sppsvc

    9) Type: slui.exe

    10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.

Reboot, then run MGADiag again, and post the report

Answer
sounds like you are not using the key from your COA.

does the key you are entering match this one:

*****-*****-73CQT-WMF7J-3Q6C9

if so it is the wrong one. If you used a keyfinder program to get your key it won't work. the key must come from your COA.
