Please Help! Windows 7 Upgrade Error Code 0x7E and DU.DLL not found.

I am trying to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium.

I did everything that I should do before the upgrade, but when I tried to install it, all I got are the two following error messages:

This appication has failed to start because DU.DLL was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Windows could not load required file WinSetup.dll. The file may be
corrupt. To install Windows, restart the installation. Error code: 0x7E

I have searched on the internet to find solutions, but I could not find any.
Could anyone please help?!

God, if only I knew I'd encounter installation problems, I'll probably rather stay with Vista and save my $130 bucks.
