Microsoft SMS on Windows 7

Answer

I would check with Cisco to see what they have to say.  This is a rather complex query, and since the target audience here is folks installing Windows 7 at home, corporate deployments of non-Microsoft software fall just a bit outside the expertise here.

Cisco Telepresence Movi rel. 4.1.1.9724, silent installation on Windows 7 not working.

When trying to run this silent installation string for Cisco TelePresence Movi 4.1.1 on Windows 7, nothing happens, the program is not successfully installed, no windows program group "Cisco" created:

start /wait MoviSetup4.1.exe /s /v"/qn DOMAIN=company.com EXTERNALVCS=192.168.1.1 INTERNALVCS=192.168.1.2 HIDEADVANCEDLOGIN=1 USEWINDOWSUSERNAME=1"

For Tandberg Movi version2.0 up to version 4.0 we have successfully distributed the Movi installation to over 100 Windows XP clients by using Microsoft SMS and a bat file calling the following silent installation string:

start /wait MoviSetup4.0.exe /s /v"/qn DOMAIN=domain.com EXTERNALVCS=192.168.1.1 INTERNALVCS=192.168.1.1 HIDEADVANCEDLOGIN=1 USEWINDOWSUSERNAME=1"

This installation works fine on Windows XP.

Cisco Telepresence Movi rel. 4.1.1.9724 documentation does not describe any Windows 7 installation issues.
