Installation stuck at "setup is starting service"

when i turn on my computer with the windows 7 home premium disk inside, it askes me if i want to reboot using the CD or DVD, i dont press anything then after a few seconds windows starts then it goes to a blue screen with the letters saying "startup us starting service" and i wait...ive been waiting for around an hour now and nothing has happend..any idea why??

Are you trying to do an upgrade installation or a clean installation?

If you are doing an upgrade installation, then disable any security software and try again.

Disconnect all the external devices and restart the computer and start the installation again.

First check if your computer meets the minimum system requirements to install Windows 7.

I suggest you to download and run the Windows upgrade advisor in your computer. See this link:
