Erroneous "This copy of Windows is not genuine" message

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate as the second system on an XP Pro machine. Everything was fine on both systems until yesterday, when I moved the Windows 7 partition (with Partition Magic, in XP) to make more room for my XP install. After that, my XP could still boot, but the Windows 7 wouldn't. I got a message to insert the disk, choose a language and then Repair my computer. I did all of that, and the Win7 boots but it gets stuck at the desktop building stage, with the following message in the lower right corner:
Windows 7
Build 7600.
This copy of Windows is not genuine
There is no way to reinsert my -- genuine -- activation code. All I see is this blue screen with the above message. I tried booting in Safe Mode to get to the Start menu but in Safe mode, I don't get anything at all, just a black screen with Safe mode in the corners.

How do I get out of this?
