Windows 7 asking for DVD driver, but it's alreading seeing the DVD drive

I am installing windows 7 pro on a DUal Xeon 5500 motherboard by SuperMicro
I have built a raid 1 array from embedded bios applications.

Windows starts to install , after I enter the Country english etc it gives me an
error message saying "windows needs the DVD Drive driver"

But windows already sees the DVD drive !!!

Is it really asking for Raid drivers?

when will it ask for raid drivers?

In what form will it want the drivers (there is no floppy port
on this motherboard.

Thanx

Cosmo

Hi Cosmo,

You should be able to put the RAID drivers in the DVD drive. Windows uses standard drivers for CD/DVD's and doesn't need anything else during this early phase of installation. It might be a little confused on what it is asking for is all. :-)
It can also access a USB drive as well if you wanted/needed to copy the driver to one.

I hope this helps.
