I just did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional. Prior to that I was running Windows 7 RC. Before the installation, I cloned my C drive to an external USB drive. Can I use easy file transfer to install all my programs ans settings?

I just did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional.  Prior to that I was running Windows 7 RC.  Before the installation, I cloned my C drive to an external USB drive.  Can I use easy file transfer to install all my programs ans settings?  If so, what's the easiet way to do it?

You cannot use Windows Easy Transfer to install programs, but you can use it to restore backed personal files and settings. If you did a System Image of your Windows installation, you can restore it, since it backs up the entire installation of Windows, including programs and settings along with personal files.
