I upgraded my pc to windows 7. I should have a ton of updates that need installed so I checked windows update, but it just searches and then after awhile I got an error code, 8024402C. I've tried the troubleshooter, and that scan again told me the same error code. I've tried turning off the firewall too for about an hour which Norton is in control of. After upgrading to windows 7 I've downloaded a few software and I also downloaded internet explorer 11 because after the upgrade I had only explorer 8. I also downloaded the net framework 4.5 because I saw that was the latest while I was in Microsoft's download site and thought I would get a head start on all the updates that would be coming..
How can I get windows update functioning again?
