Q: Windows stuck on startup repair loop. This thread is locked from future replies

First system specks:
cpu: amd x6 phenom 2 black edition
gpu: ati radeon 5850 by xfx
Motherboard: Msi 870a g54
psu: ocz 700w modxtream pro
os: windows 7 home edition
i did build it myself.

Now to the real problem. I was on the computer and an update popped up i clicked yes without thinking about it. The computer shut down and when i turned it back on startup repair tried to fix it. I soon realized it wasn't working and was on a loop after a few resets. I tried everything i knew and even researched the problem and tried those methods. All in vain though. I tried to use the call support but it wouldn't take my windows 7 product key so here i am. Please help!

Did you run StartUp Repair from a Windows Installation or Repair Disk as indicated above?
That often works when it does not from Recovery or a Recovery Disk. There are even
instructions on how to make a Repair Disk.

How to Recover from an Infinitely Looping Startup Repair Loop without Reinstalling Windows

That does contain some good methods to use however be sure to use the Windows
installation or Repair Disks as indicated above instead of Recovery as it often works

Hope this helps.
