How to turn off boot menu in Windows 7?

Hi
My Vaio using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit,but near time when i start Windows appear menu boot to select windows( althought my Vaio only have windows 7) .I must press Enter to go on start windows 7,now i wan turn off it and Windows will not appear this boot menu.How to turn off it now?.

·         What happens when you try to select the other option in the boot menu?

 

Try the below methods:

 

Method 1:

First try booting to both the operating system and check the one which is working. Follow the below methods to the one which is working fine

 

i.           Click on start

ii.         Right click on computer

iii.       Select Properties

iv.        Click on advanced system settings

v.          Select Advanced tab

vi.        Under startup and recovery, click on settings

vii.      Under operating system select the one you want  to boot i.e. the operating system which works fine

viii.    Check the option “Time to display list of operating systems”

ix.        And select the timer as ‘0’ (zero)

x.          Click on OK

xi.        Restart the computer and check if it worked.

 

Method 2:

You may run the BCD edit command of deleting the entry from the boot menu. 

/deletevalue     --- Deletes a specified element from a boot entry.
