hangs on startup-- last driver to successfully load in safe mode is classpnp.sys

Original Title: Classpnp.sys startup problem

I'm desperate for help here, typing on an old laptop to try and rectify this problem on my new one. The system simply won't startup, either in safe mode, repair or last known good config. I've had my system for about a month, it's a samsung q320 and this is the first issue I've had with it. However, I do not have a disc (the laptop was pre-loaded with windows7) and all the other fixes I've seen for this issue (the freezing on classpnp.sys at safe mode) have involved re-installing with disc.

Please somebody help me!
