error log 7001 10005 in event viewer

windows 7 x64 hangs up if i let AVG 2013 30 day trial run on my computer. I would have to disable it as soon as computer boots up so it wont hang up. Help, so i can make avg work with my computer. error  logs 7001 and 10005 appear when i check event viewer right after computer hangs up.
I have also read almost all posts regarding these 2 concerns.. from cover to cover. but i dont think they are applicable to this specific condition.
thanks

Hi,

Since the error message is displays a service error you have to contact your service support vendor.

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is a set of networking protocols that permits networked devices, such as personal computers, printers, Internet gateways, Wi-Fi access points and mobile devices to seamlessly discover each other's presence on the network and establish functional network services for data sharing, communications, and entertainment. UPnP is intended primarily for residential networks without enterprise-class devices.

Make sure that this (upnphost) service is enabled and set to manual and also the dependency services SSDP Discovery Service is started.

Steps to refer to:

Step 1:

a.     Press Windows Key + R, type Services.msc and hit Enter.

b.    Right click upnphost service select Properties and make sure that the Startup is set to Manual. Click on Apply and Ok.

Step 2:

You may also have to check the dependency service (SSDP Discovery Service) is set to start.

a.    Press Windows Key + R, type Services. msc and hit Enter.

b.    Right click SSDP Discovery Service and click on Start. Click on Apply and Ok.

If either of those services is disabled you will get the DCOM error in the event log.

If still the issue persists please contact AVG support team for help.

Please let us know if you need any help on issues related to Windows.
