Question

Q: Blue Screening Problem.

I am having a problem with my PC blue screening.  It's a brand new system, I build it a couple of months ago.

Seems to more often while running games, even low end ones.  But also crashes at random other times.

Here is the report.

BCCode: f4
BCP1: 0000000000000003
BCP2: FFFFFA80103A5B30
BCP3: FFFFFA80103A5E10
BCP4: FFFFF800031DB7B0
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

When I look at the dmp file in BluescreenView

it says CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION

it also says it was caused by Driver: ntoskrnl.exe

I can't seem to figure out the cause, and would appreciate any help.

Answer

A:

Yep, it's the 0xF4 bug check faulting werfault.exe with verifier enabled. I'd say at this point it's either a corrupt file system/Windows install, or faulty hard disk.
